Sustainability Strategies
By drawing information from our Knowledge Database of climate-related research, trends, metrics, risks/opportunities and projects/actions, RiskClima helps you create a Sustainability Strategy which addresses your organisation's unique needs.
From reducing carbon emissions to building sustainable supply chains, RiskClima incorporates all current global trends in Risk Management and Business Strategy issues with long term specific actions.
It brings together in one single platform, all necessary elements required to draw and effectively monitor a Sustainability Strategy such as Risks & Opportunities, Performance Indicators, Mitigation Actions, Dashboards & Reporting.
Sustainability Reporting
With RiskClima you have access to most prominent reporting standards. Financial or non financial disclosures, as suggested from Boards like IPCC, TCFD and others are available at the tip of your finger.
Using a single all-inclusive database, you produce reports from one standard to another easily and controllably. Your database covers the lowest level of information to be navigated to each standard as appropriate.
RiskClima gives you access to the most prominent Sustainability reporting standards. Whether within the framework of ESG or independently, either for financial or non-financial disclosures, numerous reporting templates are available on RiskClima at the tip of your finger, as suggested from Boards such as the Financial Stability Board and the Task Force on Climate Change Financial Disclosures -TCFD.
Using a single all-inclusive database, with RiskClima you can produce reports following different reporting standards easily, flexibly and controllably. In principle, your database consists of the lowest level of information which is subsequently navigated to each reporting standard as appropriate.
Modelling Techniques
Future events most likely will not occur in predictable or normalised patterns. You need to be able to run "What-if" scenarios of situations for future periods. RiskClima incorporates modelling of data taking into account numerous parameters. For example, it provides scenarios of how the risk probability might change in relation to the mitigation action cost and severity of a climate event.
Natural Language Processing
NLP can be applied onto our databases of Risks, Mitigation Actions and Indices to extract information and cross-examine each of them against standards (GRI, TCFD, CDP etc.) or plain external literature. In this, you evaluate the sentiment i.e. the degree of importance of your strategies compared to standards, peers, regulators and other sources.
Knowledge Databases
RiskClima includes a Knowledge Database, with ready-to-use Risks registers, Indicators and Mitigation Actions. The preloaded database contains all supporting data users might need when they are onboarding. This feature also facilitates the process of complying with the Directives and the Legal Framework on climate change. RiskClima also incorporates Models and Trends for climate change for milestones (years 2030, 2040, 2050 or beyond depending on the available data) according to international literature.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
In managing a long-term objective such as the mitigation of climate risks, you need to base your action plan on projections of your metrices following certain scientific methodologies. For example you need to project the impact of physical risks on your business processes based on algorithms which will combine several internal and external parameters in order to come to a forecasted figure in a milestone. This is typically a Data Science and a Machine Learning approach. RiskClima incorporates external data from Models for climate change for milestones (years 2030, 2040, 2050 or beyond depending on the available data) and combines them with your internal data to produce future projections using Data Analytics and Machine Learning techniques.
Power BI Visualisations
Use Power BI to access your data and produce reports and visuals of any kind. A comprehensive tutorial provides the necessary knowledge for you to understand the structure and contents of the database as well as the fundamental Power BI functionality.
Preloaded Indices
Carbon emissions, energy consumption, amount of waste generated are only some examples of indices preloaded on RiskClima.
RiskClima offers approximately 800 indices, which refer either to primary information (e.g. MWh of consuption) or calculated KPIs (e.g. emissions in CO2eq).
Webinars and Tutorials
Our team organises frequent live online training courses - Webinars to explain the features of the software. In addition, RiskClima comes with numerous tutorials available to the users, which help them navigate through the various functions of the software and make the maximum use of them.
